Budget by disciplines or roles

You can set up Budgets in three (optional) levels:

  1. Enter a general Project budget (non-phase specific)
  2. Specify a budget per Phase of the project (e.g. Research, Design, Delivery)
  3. Even more granular, budget by Category

When it comes to resourcing and forecasting, you can assign people to the general project (#1 above) or staff them to a particular phase (#2). Currently, you cannot schedule people to a Project: Phase: and Category.

With Itemized Time Tracking, you can assign Categories and add notes to each time entry. These categories and notes will appear on the reports in Analytics and allow your team to better understand where time is spent. As your team progresses through the project, you can see how much time has been tracked toward each category (Budget Report grouped by Category).
